Almond Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup fresh almond butter
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1/2 teaspoon coarse salt

PREPARATION:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Combine and stir all ingredients in a bowl. Scoop small to medium balls of cookie dough onto parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Using your hands or an ice cream scooper works best for forming balls. Bake in oven for about 10 minutes. Look for center of cookies to be set and an overall light, golden brown tone. Place cookies on cooling rack.

Makes about 1 to 2 dozen cookies depending on size of balls.
